HISTORY OF THE DEPARTMENT
Pattamundai College, Pattamundai was established on 1970-71. Arts in Pre-University level was opened during the academic year 1972-73 vide G.O. No-17424/EYS dt.25.05.1972. The Department of Philosophy as Honours Subject was started during the Academic year 1991-1992 Vide G.O. No-7831dt. 26.02.1991 and DHE order No. 24732 dt 12. 04.1991 and affiliated to Utkal University Bhubaneswar. Philosophy is the most coverted system among Humanity courses of the College. Since its inception, the Department has pioneered in providing quality education and has thus able to produce Scholars, Intellectuals, Administrators and Educationist........

ICT FACILITIES IN THE DEPARTMENT:
The department provides modern Information and Communication Technology facilities, services and support to enhance the teaching and learning aims of the College. The department classroom is fitted with an Interactive white board and the faculties are provided with a modern laptop, WIFI which are connected to the network. The department utilizes Google, Google Meet, Zoom, E-Journal websites, E-mail and online storage in the delivery of teaching and learning.
