
The National Cadet Corps (NCC) at Pattamundai College consists of two dedicated units, 1(O) BN NCC, Cuttack Unit and 1(O) Girls BN NCC, Bhubaneswar. Both units actively contribute to the physical, mental, and social development of students while fostering values such as discipline, leadership, and service to the nation. The NCC provides cadets with opportunities for personal growth through military training, adventure activities, and community service.
The NCC units aim to prepare young boys and girls to become disciplined and responsible citizens, offering them a platform to develop leadership skills and a sense of national unity. Both units participate in a variety of activities designed to promote teamwork, self-discipline, and a spirit of adventure.

Military Training:
Adventure Activities:
Both units are encouraged to participate in adventure camps and activities such as trekking, cycling, parasailing, and rock climbing. These experiences build confidence, resilience, and teamwork among cadets.
Personality and Leadership Development:
Specialized training in leadership and personality development is provided to both boys and girls, helping them take on leadership roles in their academic and professional lives.
Community Service and Social Awareness:
Cadets engage in social service activities, including awareness drives on health, environment, and social issues, with both boys' and girls' units contributing equally to local community development projects.
Camps and Competitions:
Annual Training Camps (ATC):
Both boys and girls participate in these camps, where they receive intensive training in military skills, physical fitness, and leadership.
National Camps:
Selected cadets from both units have the opportunity to attend national-level camps such as the Republic Day Camp, Thal Sainik Camp, and National Integration Camp. These camps provide a platform for cadets to interact with students from across the country and represent their state and college.
Certification:

The college takes pride in ensuring equal opportunities for both male and female cadets in all activities. The NCC unit promotes gender equality by encouraging both boys and girls to take part in all training programs, leadership roles, and competitions without any discrimination.
Eligibility:
Students enrolled in Pattamundai College can join the boys' or girls' NCC units based on physical fitness, interest, and commitment to the values of NCC.
Registration Process:
Interested students can apply through the NCC office at the college. Selection is done based on an interview and fitness test.
