1/12/2025 Madhava Mathematics Competition is a national UG level Mathematics Competition organiged by Bhaskaracharya Pratisthana , Pune and funded by National Board for Higher Mathematics. In this year 40 students are appearing the examination in Pattamundai College center .
1/6/2024 On the occasion of World Orphan's Day Pattamundai College organised a Food distribution at Orphanage at "Kamalaben M Mehta Mumbai Kanyashram", Korua , Patkura. The event was jointly organised by YRC,NCC,NSS of this Institution. Large number of inmates of the Kanyashram were present during the distribution of food & kinds.

12/22/2023 A Career Counseling programme was organised by Career counseling cell at 11.30 AM on 22.12.2023. Personnel of Aliceblue-Broker of Stock-Market informed the students /faculties about opening of Demat Account and Basic rules of trading in stock markets.Career Counseling Prof-in-Charge Sri A Pandab , IQAC Co-Ordinator Dr S K Pradhan& HOD Commerce Sri R K Behera along with 50 number of students participated in the event.
12/22/2023 National Mathematics Day was observed by Department of Mathematics at 10.30 AM on 22.12.2023.The Resource Person of the observation is Prof Sachidananda Samantaray, Former Reader in Mathematics, L N College, Patkura. The meeting is presided over by Prof Dillip Kumar Bhuyan, Principal, Other members present including IQAC Co-Ordinator DR S K Pradhan, HOD Mathematics Sri A Pandab, DR N K Sahoo along with 40 number of students from the Department.
12/18/2023 A theory -cum- practical Demonstration class was organised by Department of Chemistry under the ADD-ON course Programme.On this occasion a Seminar was organised on the topic "Alcohol Based Hand Sanitiser & Its Synthetic Application". Dr Ranjan Kumar Giri , Assistant Professor in Pharmacology ,IPT Salipur is the Resource Person.In the 2nd Part of the Programme a Practical demonstration class was undertaken in the Laboratory of Chemistry Department and Samples were prepared. 40 number of students who have taken admission in the ADD-ON course were present in the event.
12/10/2023 Animal Rights Day was observed on 10.12.2023 by the Department of Zoology. On this occasion a seminar was organised and Dr Mithila Das, Reader in Zoology of S N College was the Resource Person. IQAC Coordinator Dr Sunil Kumar Pradhan, HOD Zoology Mrs Sarojini Mishra, NCC Officer Lt R N M Parida and HOD Education Mrs Nibedita Nayak were present in the observation along with students.
12/7/2023 Dr Rajat Kumar Mansingh, Deputy Director, Higher Education, Govt of Odisha and Nodal Officer "NUA-O" visited the institution on 7.12.2023. He interacted with the staff members and Principal in the Office of the Principal. He also gave valuable suggestion regarding the above said programme.
12/6/2023 Dr Jitendra Kumar Sahoo,Deputy Director-I & Prof Ranjit Kumar Pradhan Deputy, Director-II of Regional Directorate of Education , Bhubaneswar visited the institution on 06.12.2023 without prior information. They reached office of the Principal at 11.30 am. First they discussed with the Principal regarding various matter related to academic affairs. They also verified different records including Biometric attendance and files related to opening of new subjects. They also visited different departments of the campus including the central library and laboratories. Before leaving the campus they interacted with the staff members in the Staff Common Room. The directors appeals the staff members to show a united face to improve the NAAC gradation of the institution. They expressed their utmost satisfaction regarding the affairs of the institution.
12/4/2023 An Ability Enhancement Programme was jointly organised by IQAC, Department of Commerce & Department of Economics on 04.12.2023. Resource person Mr Sidhhartha Sankar Dash, Chief Manger, State Bank of India, Pattamundai elaborated different aspects of financial transaction including Banking frauds and its precaution. large number of students participated in the event and interacted with the chief resource person. it is one of the most succesful seminar organised.Faculty members of different department also got training from the Resource person.
12/1/2023 Observation of World Aids Day: A rally was organised on the Occasion of World Aids Day 2023 at Pattamundai College , Pattamundai . The NCC,NSS & YRC wings of the College participated in the said event. A large number of student volunteers participated in the event with a mega rally with Placards through the periphery villages to aware the public about the menace of the disease. The event made a great impact on the local society.
11/26/2023 NCC Day was observed on 26.11.2023 by 1 (O) girls Battalion NCC ,Bhubaneswar & 1 (O) girls Battalion NCC ,Cuttack of Pattamundai College. Principal Prof Dillip Kumar Bhuyan, Lt RNM Parida & HOD Physics Dr Ramesh Kumar Sahoo were present along with NCC cadets. A campus cleaning programme was carried out by the NCC cadets.
11/26/2023 National Constitution Day was observed on 26.11.2023 by the Department of Political Science. HOD Pol Sc Prof Sarbeswar Sahoo, faculties of concerned Department Dr(Mrs) Nibedita Pradhan, Miss Simangini Das, Mrs Subhashree Pothal were present in the observation along with students. An oath were taken by the students and staff members present there.
11/25/2023 International Day for elimination of violence against Women was observed by Women Development and Anti sexual Harassment Cell on 25.11.2023.A drawing competition was organised among the students for awareness. Principal Prof Dillip Kumar Bhuyan presided over a meeting and committee members of concerned cell Dr (Mrs) Nibedita Pradhan and Miss Namita Behera were present.
11/19/2023 National Integration Day was observed on 19.11.2023 by the Department of Political Science. HOD Pol Sc Prof Sarbeswar Sahoo, faculties of concerned Department Dr(Mrs) Nibedita Pradhan, Miss Simangini Das, Mrs Subhashree Pothal were present in the observation along with students.

11/3/2022 Existing 7.5 KVA Solar inverter is modified by installing 9.5 KVA Solar inverter inside Pattamundai College premises by help of which we can save Electrical Energy up to 50 Units ( 50 Kilowatt) per Day. Now we are one step ahead in Energy Saving Sector.
